Location: St.Michaels, Liverpool
Fire crews have been called to a fire at a shop on Aigburth Road, St. Michaels. Four Fire engines are in attendance.
Fire crews were alerted at 9.54pm and on scene at 9.58pm.
Crews arrived to find a shop well alight and after gaining access to the shop through roller shutters four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus began to fight the fire using high pressure hose reels.
A main branch hose was also in use externally.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus have also begun to search the first floor. Gas and electricity has been isolated to the building.
The incident has been divided into sectors and is ongoing.
UPDATE: 11.45PM
All breathing apparatus use has now ceased at this incident and ventilation has been carried out on the first floor. All persons are accounted for and firefighters are now dampening down.
