Location: Renshaw Street, Liverpool city centre
MFRS were called to a serious road traffic collision involving an HGV and a person in Renshaw Street at 2.21pm and were on scene at 2.24pm.
Four engines and the search and rescue team attended initially.
Crews are on standby while an investigation takes place at the scene, where Merseyside Police are also in attendance.
Renshaw Street is closed between Great Charlotte Street and Hanover Street and people are advised to avoid the area.
