Firefighters attended a flat on Bloomfield Green, Sefton Park, on Monday 2nd September after reports of a smoke alarm sounding.
Crews were on scene at 6.03pm.
Crews used a triple extension ladder to gain access to the property and remove a pan of food from the cooker that had been left unattended.
Fire crews left the scene at 6.09pm.
