Location: Craven Street, Claughton Road, Birkenhead
Fire crews were called to an incident at a house in Craven Street, Birkenhead, on Monday, 4th May.
Crews were alerted at 7.41pm and on scene at 7.45pm. Two fire engines attended.
Crews arrived to find a fire in the kitchen of a property.
Firefighters extinguished the fire with a high pressure hose reel jet and then ventilated the property.
The fire is believed to have involved a tumble dryer.
There were no injuries in the incident. A window and door were severely damaged by fire and there was lighter fire and smoke damage to the kitchen and ground floor.
Firefighters left the scene at 8.11pm.
