Location: Maghull, Sefton
Fire crews have been called to a house fire involving three houses in Moorhey Road, Maghull this afternoon.
Four fire engines and an aerial appliance are in attendance.
Crews were alerted at 2.11pm and on scene at 2.15pm.
Crews arrived to find a shed fire which had spread to the garage of a two storey house and had also begun to affect the roofspace of a separate neighbouring two storey property.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus began to rapidly tackle the fire with a hose reel jet to prevent further escalation. Six firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets and one main branch hose to fight the fire.
Firefighters are making efforts to prevent the spread of fire to a third adjoining semi-detached house.
Gas and electrics have been isolated to the three houses involved.
The incident is ongoing.
