Location: Aysgarth Avenue, West Derby, Liverpool
Firefighters attended an incident at a property in Aysgarth Avenue, West Derby, on Wednesday, 31st July.
Crews were alerted at 7.47am and on the scene at 7.51am. Two fire engines attended.
On arrival, crews found a fire - which had started in a first-floor en suite room.
Firefighters, wearing breathing apparatus, used a hose reel jet to tackle the fire. The house was then ventilated.
One person, suffering smoke inhalation, was treated at the scene with oxytherapy by firefighters before being taken to hospital for precautionary checks.
The en suite was damaged by fire with other parts of the property sustaining smoke damage.
Crews left the scene at 8.21am.
