Location: Frankby, Wirral
Fire Crews have been called to a large gorse fire in Royden Park, Hill Bark Road, Frankby.
Crews were on scene at 6.17pm and arrived to find a large area of gorse around 30 x 30 metres alight at the rear of the rugby club.
There are 4 pumps in attendance and reports of lots of smoke in the area- please avoid the area.
Firefighters are fighting the fire with main branch hoses.
The incident is ongoing.

Main fire extinguished at around 7.30 pm and firefighters damped down perimeter and entire area before leaving the scene at 8.34pm.
