Fire crews are in attendance at a garage fire on High Park Street, Toxteth.
Crews were alerted at 10.02am and on scene at 10.05am. Five fire engines are in attendance.
Crews arrived to find a single storey garage approximately 50m by 50m involved in fire. Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus carried out firefighting.
A person at the scene has been given assistance for slight smoke inhalation by fire crews and North West Ambulance Service are now in attendance.
The main seat of fire has been extinguished, and firefighters are checking for fire spread.
