Fire Crews gave been called to a flooding incident in the early hours to some properties on Satinwood Crescent, Melling.
Crews were on scene at 12.50am this morning, with 2 fire engines and 3 portable pump pods in use.
2 residential properties were affected but the actions of crews have ensured that water has not entered the buildings.
Multi agency meetings have taken place with the environment agency, the canals and rivers trust, United Utilities and Sefton Council and it has been confirmed that the source of the water is a burst water main. Residents in the area should be aware that there may be water supply disruption to some properties in the area. The incident is ongoing.
